WRTS North Dakota Fundraiser

Hello!

We are Lorie and Michael Anderson. We are the new owners of We Rock the Spectrum – North Dakota, located in Fargo, ND. As owners who have lived and worked in the F/M area with people with special needs, we found that our community was really lacking public places where all young people could safely play with their peers and enjoy quality social interaction where they and their families could feel truly supported. We then found We Rock The Spectrum and knew this is what our community needed. We Rock the Spectrum North Dakota will be the perfect place to develop lifelong friendships, practice social skills, empower individuals of all abilities, and foster community partnerships that will last a lifetime!

About Lorie

Lorie and Michael Anderson live in West Fargo, ND with their two daughters Natalie and Malia along with their 4 fur babies Gus, Gunther, Flo, and Luca. Lorie is a Program Manager providing Specialist Services to both kids and adults in Moorhead, MN and has been in this role for 8 years. She earned her Early Childhood Education degree with a Minor in Special Education from Minnesota State University–Moorhead in 2014.  While obtaining her degree, Lorie worked as a Direct Support Professional supporting clients with disabilities and as a Behavior Tutor working with children and teens on the autism spectrum. Lorie has a huge love for children of all abilities and a passion for making a difference in the lives of the families she supports.  Lorie has dreamed of bringing a WRTS gym to the FM area for 5 years when she first stumbled upon them while looking for sensory-safe play ideas for the clients she supports. With her family by her side, she is ready to welcome a safe and inclusive space to the area!

We are reaching out to you, F/M, and surrounding areas,  to help us make this a place like no other! We are asking that our community help support us in bringing this life-changing place for special needs children to our area. We know that with your support, our passion can become a reality for the special needs community and beyond. All contributions will directly support the building and opening of We Rock the Spectrum – North Dakota.  My Brother Rocks the Spectrum Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 organization. 100% of the donations made to My Brother Rocks the Spectrum Foundation for this campaign are tax-deductible!
